Karen D.

Selling a house is more stressful than buying a house. We hired Karen as our agent. Things went fine in the beginning. Then not so much......by the time everything was signed sealed, my husband and I felt as though we were villains trying to rip off the prospective buyers by refusing to pay $17,000 closing costs. Cutting our profit significantly. On top of that, pay another 4% for the buyers realtor after paying for our realtor. All Karen and her assistant kept telling us this is the "norm".......seriously? We have all this equity in our property and apparently everyone else is entitled to it except us! We felt, on many occasions, pressure to accept specific offers because they told us "this is as good as it gets." When we turned them down, things were a bit tense. We were told we were being unreasonable. Finally, a buyer who knew what he wanted and was willing to meet us half way, purchased the home and paid ALL of his closing costs. At times, dealing with Karen and her assistant was difficult which in turn frustrated us. The entire process was an absolute nightmare!! Because of this, we will never buy another house bc we don't want to go thru another selling nightmare. The house was on the market 6/2025, closed on 08/2025.

We were delighted to have Karen Dye working with us on the purchase of our condo at Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning CA. She guided and counseled us through the process from start to finish in making this important purchase. I highly recommend her service to anyone contemplating purchasing a home.

I cannot speak highly enough about Karen's knowledge, professionalism and support with both selling my home and helping our family find the perfect home. We have selected Karen as our realtor and contracted her services on four transactions. Karen is very thorough with preparing the home for listing. She helped to identify making minor improvements and cleaning and staging. All of this truly enabled us to receive a great offer quickly. Karen also has referrals for home repairs and I have received great service. She is a great honest genuine realtor.
