Want to know what's even more stressful than selling your own home? Selling your mother's home, with 60 years of living in it, knowing that this is the last lump of cash she will ever receive, and that it has to fund her years in assisted living. That's the process I just completed, and, having lived overseas for the past 30+ years, I had no experience with the home sale process in America...and it is a very complex process.
